A Conversation with Jennifer Byxbee and Evacheska deAngelis on Spiritual Experiences and Plant Medicine Work in Therapy
More clients are arriving in session having had a psychedelic or plant medicine experience — through a retreat, ceremony, or guided journey. Many of these substances exist in a legal gray area in the United States, and clients are seeking these experiences out regardless, often bringing them into therapy before their clinician has had a chance to catch up.
This workshop offers therapists a clinical understanding of what's actually happening — physiologically and psychologically — during these experiences, so you can make sense of what a client describes and know how to support their integration in session.
